Polish Sausage Breakfast Skewers
When you love kebabs that much, you want yourself a breakfast variety! Here's a polish sausage breakfast kebab recipe prepared by This Jew Can Que.
3 links of precooked Polish sausage
2 Young potatoes, peeled, and cut into 1-inch cubes
1 Yellow bell pepper, cut into 1-inch squares
BBQ seasoning of your choice
Pat of butter
Saucepan of boiling water
Grill or firepit with direct heat source
Small grill-proof frying pan
Place peeled, cubed potatoes in boiling water and cook until just fork tender
Cut sausage links into 1-inch pieces
Assemble skewers by alternating sausage, boiled potatoes and bell pepper pieces
Once assembled, season generously with your favorite BBQ seasoning/rub
Place on hot grill and cook over direct heat for 15-20 minutes until potatoes brown and sausage is heated through. Rotate often to ensure even cooking.
About 10 minutes into cook, heat your grill-proof frying pan over the fire, and begin melting butter
Crack two eggs into melted butter, and cook eggs gently until over-easy. Season with BBQ rub if you’d like.
Serve skewers and over-easy eggs hot, like a rustic hash.
