Got this as a Father’s Day gift from my wife and I love it! Unfortunately my lid just cracked off in one corner trying to get it on because the fit is so tight to press down.

Having recently suffered from a bout of food poisoning due to bad oysters (long story), I have found myself particularly concerned about food safety and am very “anal” about keeping raw and cooked food separated. The problem is that I live on the second floor of an apartment and my grill is on the first, so I had to lug multiple dishes for the raw and cooked meat which was quite annoying. This product has been a game changer in reducing the need for multiple dishes/trips, while still keeping the raw and cooked meat separate. Pro tip: when bringing your raw meat to the grill put that container on the bottom and the warm container on top (even though it’s empty at that point) so the lid is not making contact with raw meat.
